Kinslayer Revenant
Undead · Crown of Wrath
T4d10Major
An armored corpse with its own family crest burned into the breastplate, carrying an identifiable heirloom blade. Its eyes burn with recognition -- it knows exactly who you are. It speaks only to its kin, and what it says is always a litany of grievances stretched into an eternity of accusation.

Passives
Bloodline Tether
Can only be permanently slain by a member of its own bloodline; destroyed by anyone else, it reforms three nights later. Always knows the direction of its nearest living blood relative and cannot be turned.
Ancestral Blade
Its heirloom blade ignores non-magical armor: such targets count as AC 10 against its attacks.
Maneuvers
Accusing Advance
Strides toward its quarry. Each creature within 10 ft makes a Heart save (DC 17) or is too guilt-wracked to take reactions until the start of the revenant's next turn.
Declarations
Declared in the enemy tactical window and resolved at the start of its next turn. Any Vitality it loses first forces the disruption roll: on a 1 the telegraph is lost.
Litany of Grievances
Recites its catalog of betrayals. Each creature within 30 ft that can hear it makes a Heart save (DC 17); on a failure it takes 4 damage and is stunned 1 round, on a success it takes 1 Vigor damage.
Reactions
Grudge Eternal
When reduced to 0 Vitality it does not fall at once: it makes one final Ancestral Blade attack against the creature that struck it down.
Tactics
GM tactics
Hunts its own bloodline relentlessly. Opens with Accusing Advance to strip reactions from anyone standing between it and its quarry. Uses Litany of Grievances to stun groups, then focuses Ancestral Blade attacks on a single target. Cannot be permanently stopped unless a member of its bloodline delivers the killing blow.
Running it
Rules
- Shield of Tier + Heart mod over a Vitality pool of 2 x Tier. Full Vigor at combat start; at the start of its turn it rolls 4 exploding d4s and regains 1 Vigor per 4. Dead at 0 Vigor and 0 Vitality.
- A hit rolls d10. A crit rolls two: 2d10.
- Crits on a natural 16+ (Cunning 18).
- Two or three attacks in a normal turn: multiattack is the threat scaler, and one swing a round makes it a mook.
- Any Vitality lost while a telegraph is pending forces its disruption roll; on a 1 the telegraph is lost.
- Checks morale at one-third Vitality: Heart save against the party leader's presence, or GM judgment.
- NPCs never take wounds.
